Distracted Bet Privacy Policy
Effective Date: July 5, 2026
This Privacy Policy ("Policy") explains how OpenNation Limited, a BVI business company with company number 2150524 ("Distracted Bet," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, discloses, stores, and protects information when you use Distracted Bet, including the website located at https://distracted.bet/, the mobile application, waitlist, public chat, wallet-connected features, SOL-based game features, smart contracts, APIs, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

We do not sell your personal information. We do not ask for, collect, or store wallet seed phrases or private keys.
3. Public Features
Some parts of the Service are public or visible to other users, including public chat messages, usernames, avatars, game actions, round participation, leaderboard entries, wallet addresses, and blockchain transactions.
Do not submit information to public areas of the Service that you do not want others to see. We may not be able to remove information that has already been copied, indexed, screenshotted, shared, or recorded on a public blockchain.
4. Wallets, Blockchain, and Smart Contracts
Wallet connections are non-custodial. We do not control your wallet, private keys, seed phrase, or digital assets.
When you approve a wallet signature or transaction, your wallet provider and the relevant blockchain network may process information according to their own terms and policies. Blockchain transactions may be irreversible and publicly visible.
We may use wallet and blockchain information to verify ownership, attribute game activity, operate staking and payout mechanics, detect fraud, enforce rules, and comply with legal obligations.
5. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We may use cookies, local storage, pixels, SDKs, and similar technologies to:
- Keep you signed in;
- Store waitlist or session status;
- Remember preferences;
- Prevent fraud and abuse;
- Measure performance and diagnose errors;
- Understand usage patterns and improve the Service.
You may be able to disable cookies or local storage through your browser or device settings, but some Service features may not work correctly.
6. How We Disclose Information
We may disclose information to:
- Service providers that host, maintain, secure, analyze, or support the Service, including cloud hosting, databases, analytics, messaging, customer support, error logging, and infrastructure providers.
- Wallet, blockchain, and infrastructure providers needed to process wallet connections, transactions, smart contract interactions, and network requests.
- Compliance and risk providers, including age verification, identity verification, sanctions screening, geolocation, fraud prevention, bot detection, and wallet-screening providers.
- App stores, distribution platforms, and wallet providers where needed to operate, distribute, or support the Service.
- Other users and the public where information is part of public chat, gameplay, leaderboards, or public blockchain activity.
- Legal, regulatory, law enforcement, or safety recipients where required by law, legal process, regulation, dispute resolution, or to protect rights, safety, security, or game integrity.
- Business transaction recipients, such as affiliates, successors, investors, or acquirers in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets.
We do not disclose your seed phrase or private keys because we do not collect them.
7. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the Service, comply with law, resolve disputes, enforce our Terms, protect game integrity, and maintain security.
Unless a longer or shorter period is required by law, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or compliance needs, our typical retention periods are:
- Waitlist and account information: retained for the life of your account or waitlist registration, then deleted or de-identified within a commercially reasonable period after deletion request or account closure.
- Chat and user content: retained while the Service is active and as needed for moderation, safety, dispute resolution, and legal compliance.
- Gameplay, wager, stake, payout, transaction, and compliance records: retained for up to 7 years where necessary for legal, tax, accounting, fraud prevention, anti-money laundering, dispute, or regulatory purposes.
- Security, fraud, and game-integrity logs: retained for up to 3 years, unless needed longer for an investigation, dispute, legal obligation, or enforcement.
- Analytics and diagnostic data: retained for up to 24 months, unless aggregated, de-identified, or needed longer for security or service improvement.
- Support communications: retained for up to 3 years after the request is resolved, unless needed longer for legal, safety, or dispute reasons.
Public blockchain data may remain publicly available indefinitely and cannot be deleted by us.
8. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, and disclosure. These safeguards may include encryption in transit, access controls, monitoring, rate limiting, least-privilege permissions, and security reviews.
No system is perfectly secure. Wallets, smart contracts, blockchain networks, and user devices involve risks outside our control. You are responsible for keeping your wallet, device, passwords, private keys, and seed phrase secure.
9. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or restriction of processing of your personal information.
You may request privacy assistance by contacting us at hey@distracted.bet.
We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. We may deny, limit, or delay requests where permitted by law, including where retention is necessary for game integrity, legal compliance, tax or accounting obligations, anti-fraud, anti-money laundering, dispute resolution, security, or enforcement of our Terms.
We cannot delete or alter public blockchain records.
You may disconnect a wallet through the Service or your wallet provider, where supported. Disconnecting a wallet does not delete prior public blockchain activity or records we must retain for compliance, security, or dispute reasons.
10. Age, Eligibility, and Restricted Jurisdictions
The Service is not intended for minors. You must be at least 21 years old, or the legal age required to participate in wagering or similar games in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher.
We may collect and process information needed to verify age, location, and eligibility. If we learn that a minor has used the Service, we may terminate access and delete information where required by law, subject to retention needed for legal, security, fraud prevention, or compliance purposes.
We may restrict or block access from jurisdictions where the Service is unavailable, unlawful, or requires authorization we do not hold.
11. International Transfers
We and our service providers may process and store information in countries other than where you live. Those countries may have data protection laws different from those in your jurisdiction.
Where required, we use safeguards designed to protect transferred information consistent with this Policy and applicable law.
12. Third-Party Services
The Service may link to or integrate with third-party wallets, app stores, websites, decentralized applications, protocols, blockchain networks, smart contracts, analytics tools, or infrastructure providers.
We are not responsible for the privacy, security, or content practices of third parties. Review their terms and privacy policies before using them.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will update the Effective Date above and may provide additional notice through the Service.
Your continued use of the Service after the updated Policy becomes effective means you accept the revised Policy. If you do not agree, stop using the Service.
